Phirni - Rice pudding with saffron, cardamon, rose water and pistachio

[wpurp-searchable-recipe]Phirni - Rice pudding with saffron, cardamon, rose water and pistachio - - full-fat milk ((didn’t try the recipe with nut milk yet)), rice flour ((reduce or increase to taste)), green cardamon, rose water, saffron ((soaked for 30 minutes in warm water)), stevia ((95%+ extract or any other sweetener to taste)), pistachio nuts ((or other nuts, fruit, herbs)), Mix the rice flour with some of the milk. Stir till you don’t have any lumps.; Bring the milk to the boil, slightly reduce the heat and add the rice flour. Simmer and stir frequently till the mixture starts to thicken (about 10-15 minutes). Add the cardamon, saffron, rose water and stevia (or another sweetener). Stir and adjust the amount of sweetener and/or herbs.; Pour into separate bowls and cool for at least 2 hours in the fridge but if possible overnight. ; Finish the dish by adding nuts, herbs or fresh fruit.; - [/wpurp-searchable-recipe]
